Chapter 9: Sango's Fairy Tale

"A...a practical lesson?" Kunoichi repeated. "Does this mean that we'll be dealing with...with..."

"Youkai, yes." Kagome nodded. "You can't possibly expect to be of any help to your village if the only thing you are sure you can defeat are trees and the occasional rabbit."

Kunoichi flushed. It was true. She hadn't put her powers to use yet, so she wasn't sure of her ability in a real fight. Despite her desire to further her strength, she couldn't stop herself from trembling slightly as she said, "Okay, Kagome-sensei. I'll try."

Kagome smiled and put a hand on the other girl's shoulder, stopping her shaking. She then tilted her head slightly and began to sniff at the air. 'Hmm...too large, I'm not sure if she's ready for that, yet... too small, I know she's more experienced than that.' Finally, she locked on to the scent of a medium sized youkai who smelled like some sort of insect. She then extended her miko powers in that direction, feeling for his power level. Perfect. Only one thing left to do now. She concentrated.

'Inuyasha.'

'Huh? What the...oh. What is it, Kagome?'

'Can you tell Sango to load our bows and arrows onto Kirara, and then send her to find us?'

'Why can't I bring them?'

'We have to travel a bit, too. Kirara's perfect for that.'

'Where the hell are you going?' His voice raised a bit, and Kagome winced.

'Calm down! We're just going to do a bit of training.'

'Where?'

'Not that far, MOM.'

She could feel Inuyasha get angry. 'I'm not a fucking-'

'Okay, okay. I know. I'm sorry. Would you just tell Sango for me?'

'Feh.'

'Thanks!'

'Wha? I didn't-'

Kagome carefully sealed off her mind from Inuyasha and turned to Kunoichi. "Kirara's bringing our weapons. I guess I should have remembered them, huh?" She chucked sheepishly and leaned against a tree to wait.

The two didn't have very much idle time, however, as the fire-cat landed in front of them a few minutes later. Kagome stepped up and removed the bows and arrows from Kirara's back, patting the neko in thanks. She handed a bow and a quiver to Kunoichi, and outfitted herself with the others. It had been quite a while since Kagome had used arrows in battle, but she supposed it wouldn't hurt to get some practice.

"Kirara, we need you to take us someplace. Will you?"

Kirara peered at Kagome and bent her knees so that the girls could climb up. Kunoichi pulled herself up first, but Kagome thought for a second, then shook her head. "On second thought, I think I'll run. A scent is harder to pick up in the air. Just follow me, okay?"

Kirara stood and gave a surprisingly human-like nod before leaping into the air and circling high above Kagome, Kunoichi hanging on for dear life. Once Kagome was sure that they were ready, she focused on the youkai again. It had hardly moved, making it that much easier to track. She began to run, relishing the feel of using her legs like she hadn't been able to for the last two-and-a-half weeks. At one point, she almost let herself get too far ahead of Kirara and Kunoichi, and she had to force herself to slow down a bit.

When Kagome felt them getting very close to the bug youkai, she stopped and motioned for Kirara to land. When the fire-cat obeyed, Kunoichi slid off her back. "Are we there?" she whispered, glancing around nervously.

"Just about," Kagome answered. "I just want you to try something. Locate the youkai using your powers. I'll tell you if you're right."

Kunoichi swallowed. This was one of the things that had taken her a little longer to get. She was still a little rusty at it, but she closed her eyes and tried anyway. The first impressions she got were of Kagome and Kirara, naturally. As she extended her range, her sensing power weakened considerably. Frowning in frustration, she pushed harder, until she 'saw' the form of a youkai in the woods. "I found it!" she cried, opening her eyes.

Kagome smiled. She had known that the girl could do it. "Good. What direction?"

Kunoichi pointed. Kagome nodded at her accurate answer, and the three set off toward the youkai. They walked slowly, trying to make no noise (It was easier for Kagome, having hanyou grace, but Kunoichi was quite clumsy, stepping on what seemed like every small twig in the forest). When the youkai was finally in their range of sight, Kagome looked at Kirara and said, in a voice so low that no human could have heard it, "Don't help unless we get in big trouble. I'm trying to get her to rely on herself."

Kirara growled softly in assent, and obviously, the youkai heard them, because his head whipped around and stared blankly into the forest. "Who's there? Be it food?" He sniffed audibly, and licked his lips, his large, beetle-black eyes alive with excitement. "No. Miko blood. Youkai blood. Be it a challenge?" He mumbled to himself. Kagome decided that this was as good a time as ever to expose themselves. Cautioning Kirara to stay in the trees until needed, Kagome and Kunoichi stepped from the bushes, the former calm and confident, the latter shaking like a leaf.

They got their first good look at the youkai. It looked vaguely humanoid, its back stooped to bend its body almost double. In the place of where arms would be on a normal human, there were wicked curved scythes, ending in a sharp point. His body was covered in black scales and his eyes were completely black. They appeared to be rolling in all directions at once, but it was impossible to tell because of the uniform color. Two greenish antennae were perched on top of his head. Razor-sharp teeth protruded from his mouth at odd places.

"Okay, Kunoichi-san. Your first real test. I'll get his attention. You take him out." Kagome put a comforting hand on the girls shoulder before stepping up to face the youkai. "Hey, ugly!"

He turned around and hissed, "Be she talking to me? No. I no ugly thing. Wench lies!"

Kagome rolled her eyes. A rocket scientist, he wasn't. Sighing inwardly at how pitiful a fight this would have been if Kunoichi hadn't been training, she darted forward and drew the youkai's gaze away from Kunoichi, all the while taunting the bug-youkai, who kept hissing to himself and swiping at her, to no avail.

Kunoichi managed to stop herself from shaking long enough to set an arrow in her bow. With the familiar feeling of a string stretched taut, she began to channel her energy into it, her aura flaring to life as she did so. Aiming, she let fly at the youkai's head.

He leapt out of the way with perfect timing. Kunoichi let out a disappointed sigh and pulled out another arrow. She just had to do this! She didn't want to fail!

The youkai didn't seem to want to wait around and give her a chance for another shot. Instead, he threw himself at Kagome and brought down one of his scythe arms.

Thinking quickly, Kagome drew the Sora-Ki and blocked it effortlessly, holding him at bay while Kunoichi readied another attack. All of a sudden, she began to feel drained, as if just holding him back was emptying her energy. 'It shouldn't feel like this,' she thought. 'This guy is nowhere near as strong as I am!'

But then, she figured out why she felt so weak as she raised her eyes to the sky.

The day had darkened into night, and the crescent moon was casting light over the trees.

Kagome gasped, and looked for an opening to duck away, but there was none. She felt the tingling sensation as her ears became just human ears and appeared on the right part of her head. Her eyes, she knew, were darkening from silver to brown. Her feet began to slip when her muscles weakened considerably, the bug's force becoming harder and harder to withstand. Her nails shortened, and she knew the full change was only moments away.

The Sora-Ki lost its transformation, marking the complete ebbing of Kagome's youkai blood. The bug youkai breathed in deeply, a cold grin on his face. "Ningen now, yes. Weak, yes. Kill now....yes...." This last phrase was hissed as he suddenly swept down his scythe arm, knocking the Sora-Ki from Kagome's grasp and slicing a deep gash in her shoulder.

Being only human, Kagome cried out as the attack sent her flying into a tree, effectively knocking her unconscious. The bug youkai then rounded on Kunoichi. "This one has arrows. Yes. Kill her. Drink blood. Powers in it." He began to tap his scythes together, snickering softly.

Kunoichi's eyes were locked on Kagome. 'This is all my fault!' she thought frantically. 'If I hadn't missed that first shot, this wouldn't have happened!' She finally brought her gaze to the youkai and saw that he was headed toward her, a greedy look in his black eyes.

Her knees immediately weakened, but she managed to hold her ground. Her head was whirling. There was no way that she could hit him when she had his full attention! She could barely hit him when he was distracted! And now, every step he took brought him so deep into her firing range that, if she were to fire an arrow, its purification wouldn't even take effect. Her arrows were useless at such close range! So all she could do was watch as the youkai advanced, hissing death threats under his breath.

All of a sudden, there was a fierce growl from the area directly behind Kunoichi. The girl sighed in relief. She had almost forgotten about Kirara! The fire-cat leapt from the trees and snarled, latching on to the youkai's leg and tossing him away from Kunoichi.

As the bug youkai hit the ground, he immediately started to laugh. "Armor, this is!" He indicated his scales as he stood to his feet, unscathed. "Powerless are you with teeth only, yes!"

Kirara let out another growl and jumped forward, slashing at the youkai with her sharp claws. This only gained another laugh from him. "Powerless, yes!" he hissed.

Now Kirara was reduced to circling the youkai, trying to dodge his attacks with no hopes of retaliation. Kunoichi kept trying to single one out, but they were moving very rapidly. Now that the youkai was long-range again, she was trying to target him and send another arrow his way, but she couldn't get a clear shot! 'And even if I could,' she bitterly reminded herself, 'I'll probably miss and hit Kirara anyway!' So she could just mentally encourage Kirara, pleading for some sort of help.

---------------------------------

The group had reached the inn and were counting the money that they had received from the meat curer. Shippou let out a huge sigh. "Not very much, is it?"

Sango shook her head. "It's more than what we had."

Inuyasha scowled. "See? I knew that this stupid thing was just a...just a waste...of time..." He stopped, looking faintly worried.

"What is it, Lord Inuyasha?" Ninsei queried, fearful of the look that crossed the hanyou's face.

"It's Kagome. I just felt her power begin to drop."

"What?" Sango was on her feet. "She's weakening? Why? What happened?"

Inuyasha stood and walked to the window, where his worries were confirmed. "Shit. It's the crescent moon."

Ninsei stood now, too. "Is this her human night, then?" Inuyasha nodded.

"I'm going to go and- AH!" Inuyasha clapped his hand to his left shoulder and grimaced. "Dammit! She's hurt!" As the echo of Kagome's pain faded, Inuyasha felt a sudden darkness in the back of his mind. "Now she's out cold..." He tensed. "I'm going to her!" He leapt out of the window and bolted toward the place where he last felt that she was.

"I'll go as well," Ninsei informed Sango and Shippou.

Sango looked indignant. "I want to-"

"No! Without Kirara, no offense, but you'd just slow us down!" With those words, he raced right after Inuyasha, and was surprised at the thought that ran through his head. 'I hope Kunoichi is all right.'

-----------------------------

Inuyasha ran faster than he ever remembered doing so before. He bounded across the ground, occasionally jumping to the trees when he thought it would make him move faster. Therefore, he reached the battleground very quickly and took in the situation.

Kagome was slumped against a tree, her breathing shallow, but even. He wanted to run to her, but he held back. That bug thing had to be taken care of, first. He saw Kunoichi poised at the edge of the area where Kirara and the youkai were fighting, obviously trying to get in a shot. The fighters had not yet noticed Inuyasha, so he used this to his advantage as he crept to Kunoichi. "Hey, wench!" he whispered, causing her to jump, squeal, and fire an arrow into a tree about an inch from his head. "HEY!" He clapped his hands to his mouth and tried to calm his voice. "Be careful with that thing! Listen, isn't that some kind of armor on him?" When Kunoichi nodded, he said, "Attacks having no effect?" She shook her head. "Okay." He turned to look at the situation and had a sudden idea. He began to tell Kunoichi what to do and when to do it.

Kirara had sustained a few scratches. Nothing serious, but nothing minor either. They weren't impairing her movement at all, but they did ache dully. Therefore, she was relieved to back down when Inuyasha stepped up to the bug youkai and waved her away.

On the sidelines, Kunoichi was creeping into position, trying hard not to make as much noise as she had made when approaching the youkai.

The bug youkai sniffed. "Hanyou again. Yes. Ningen will you be tonight?" He sneered these last words, and Inuyasha scoffed.

"No. Not tonight. But tonight, you WILL die for what you've done to my mate!"

"Mate? Yes. Smell now, yes. Weak mate, yes?"

Inuyasha tried to persuade his arms not to try to rip out the thing's throat. 'Claws have no effect...' he had to keep reminding himself. Finally, he gritted out, "She could kill you with no effort. So can I."

The youkai laughed, a high-pitched rasping sound. "Well, confident, yes? Best shot you will give me, then!"

Inuyasha snorted, then smirked as he heard a bow creak behind him. "Not me, bakayarou. Her." He then jumped straight up in the air, and the youkai's eyes followed him instinctively.

Kunoichi took a deep breath. She knew that she had only one shot. But her hands were shaking so violently that she was sure that she'd drop the bow. At least, she was sure, until she felt a prescence beside her and turned her head to behold...Ninsei.

His blue eyes met hers. "You can do this. You have practiced far too much to fail now." He lay a comforting hand on her shoulder and smiled. "I believe in you."

Kunoichi felt as if she'd just downed an entire pot of tea at one time. A pleasant warmth invaded her insides and her hands steadied automatically. 'I can do this. He believes...' She let out a triumphant cry as the released the arrow.

The arrow flared with Kunoichi's purple aura. It was clearly the strongest one that she'd ever produced. And it was clearly the best shot that she'd ever performed. It hit the bug youkai in the one place where armor hadn't spread itself. Directly over his heart.

As soon as the arrow met the youkai, he let out a pained howl as the parts of his body under the armor disintegrated completely. For a second, the body still stood, and it seemed almost like nothing had happened. Then, all at once, the armor scales dropped to the ground in a pile.

Inuyasha landed gently, staring at what was left of the youkai for an instant before running to Kagome and pushing her hair back from her face. 'Kagome!' he tried desperately. 'Kagome!'

Finally, there was a faint reply. 'Inu...yasha? What happened?'

'Don't worry about it. Is the wound on your shoulder the only one?'

'I think so... My head hurts, though.'

'All right. Just try to relax. You'll be fine.' Inuyasha carefully lifted Kagome into his arms, avoiding contact with her bleeding shoulder, and stood slowly, staring at her face. Her eyelids weren't fully closed, showing that she was close to awakening. He frowned as he looked, knowing that she wouldn't have been able to move her lips if she'd tried. Without wasting another moment, he bounded back off through the forest, headed for the inn and Kagome's first aid pack.

This left Kunoichi, Ninsei, and Kirara alone. They just stood for a moment, until Kunoichi began to approach the remains of the bug youkai. She knelt and picked up one of the scales. It was flawless, without a scratch. On a whim, she began to gather up some of them and stashing them in her kimono sleeve. They were warm and round-edged, so they didn't feel very uncomfortable. In response to a questioning look from Ninsei, she said, "I heard that Sango's village made weapons and such from demon parts. I think she can put these to use." He nodded.

Ninsei's mind was reeling. Here he was, practically alone with the girl who had been haunting his thoughts for all of this time. The way she smiled, the way she laughed...the determination that she could summon when provoked.... She was beautiful. He just couldn't bring himself to tell her so. Instead, he called to Kirara. "Can you take us back to the village now?"

The fire-cat gave him an odd look, but bent down and let Kunoichi climb up. Ninsei did the same, and they all took to the sky. Ninsei knew why Kirara had looked at him that way. That questioning look that voiced an unspoken question... 'Why don't you carry her there? You've done it before.'

Ninsei looked at the girl sitting in front of him and let out a sigh that was lost in the air rushing across their ears. He answered Kirara's question in his mind. 'If I carry her, there will be no doubt that I am not human. Maybe she'll be more open to me if she believes that I'm like her... I want to keep the facade in place as long as possible, that's all.'

-------------------------------

Inuyasha burst into the inn, scaring many tenants who were late getting to bed into their rooms. Kagome had woken during the travel, but he still didn't put her down. Instead, he carried her the entire way to the room, managed to open the door without releasing her, and set her gently in a sitting position on Sango's futon.

Shippou caught the smell of blood before he even saw it staining Kagome's upper arm. His eyes widened and he attached himself firmly to her leg, wailing in worry. Before Kagome could speak, however, Inuyasha had pried him off her and held him at eye level by his tail. "Cut it out, brat! She doesn't need you fawning over her like that!"

Kagome sighed. "I don't need YOU fawning over me like that! It's not even that serious, Inuyasha! It's not a very deep cut, so stop worrying so much!"

Inuyasha dropped Shippou on his head ("OW! WAAAAAAAH!") and turned his gaze to Kagome. "Kagome, I have to worry! You're my mate! Do you STILL not know what that means?!? I failed to protect you today."

Kagome made a kind of 'what do you care?' movement with her head. Inuyasha obviously saw what she was thinking about, because his next statement was based off it. "Kagome, I care because you are a part of me. If something were to happen to you and I fail to even TRY to protect you...I..." He decided to show her instead. Tugging his haori off his left shoulder, he exposed the skin there, where a long red welt extended in the exact same place where the youkai had sliced Kagome.

She stared for a moment before replying. "So, you want to protect me so much because it hurts you too, huh?"

Inuyasha's mouth dropped open. That wasn't what he was trying to say at all! He tried again. "Kagome, I was trying to show you that you're a part of me. Hell, you ARE me! And without you, I'd be...nothing."

He lowered his head, but only for a moment. Kagome's uninjured arm raised and settled under his chin, lifting his head back up to face her. His gold eyes bored into hers and Kagome's heart swelled with emotion. She could feel that he really meant it without having to probe his mind.

At that moment, Inuyasha had never wanted to feel Kagome's lips on his as he did then. He finally felt that she understood the deepness of their bond, and she was glad for it. She was glad for him.

These thoughts were immediately quelled when Sango politely cleared her throat. "Ah...I would gladly leave you alone, but can we tend to Kagome- chan's wounds now?" She held up Kagome's first-aid kit.

Inuyasha and Kagome blushed furiously, while Shippou looked as if he was going to be sick. (a/n: Oh yeah. That reminds me of what I have to do after a bit of waff... *runs off to bathroom, brushes teeth furiously, and inspects herself in the mirror* Damn. Still got a cavity. Ah, well.)

Luckily, Kagome was wearing one of her normal tops instead of one of the beautiful kimonos that Kunoichi had provided, so it was easy for Kagome to remove her arm gingerly from the sleeve to give Sango access to the cut. When it was freshly bandaged and Kagome felt much better, Ninsei and Kunoichi arrived. Kirara, in her smaller form, immediately leapt into Sango's arms.

"Oh! Kirara!" Sango gasped, inspecting the cuts on the neko youkai. "We'll have to fix these up..." She sat on the ground to do just that.

Inuyasha looked up at Ninsei from his place beside Kagome on the futon, where he had moved while Kagome's wounds were tended. "Oi, Ninsei. What took you so long? Why didn't you just r-"

"Ano, we rode Kirara! Beautiful sight, the crescent moon." Ninsei laughed sheepishly and everyone in the room looked confused, except Kunoichi, who giggled.

"Well, now that we're all here..." Kagome began.

Sango stood up from tending Kirara, who was now asleep, and winced. "Kagome- chan, you don't have another idea, do you?"

When Kagome nodded, Inuyasha glared. "What now? Are you going to see how long it takes to drown yourself? Maybe search out another youkai to kick your ass?"

Kagome punched him playfully in the chest with her good arm. "No... It isn't that serious, guys! Stop looking so apprehensive! I just want to have a sort of storytime."

"Storytime?" Inuyasha repeated. What was she planning with this?

"I think it's a great idea, Kagome-chan. It would be a perfect way to end this pretty hectic day." Sango walked up to the futon and sat down on the floor, facing Kagome. Kunoichi did the same, and Ninsei chose a spot near her. Shippou bounded up into Kagome's lap. Inuyasha abruptly stood up with a 'feh' and leaned against a wall, acting like he wasn't going to listen. Kagome knew otherwise.

"Okay," Kagome began. "We're all going to tell something. Whether it be real or made-up, it doesn't matter. Just have fun with it and speak your mind!" She waited for someone to volunteer, and Shippou rose to the challenge.

Shippou launched right into a ghost story that was apparently supposed to be scary, but instead was hilarious. The way he made ghostly noises and waved his little paws around was enough to send them all into hysterics. By the end, even Inuyasha was looking slightly amused. Shippou smiled smugly. It hadn't had the effect he'd hoped for, but it was a good effect nonetheless.

Ninsei went next. He told of life in the Northern Lands, which was actually quite interesting. He also kept dropping not-so-subtle hints that he would be pleased if a certain Lord and Lady would restore order...

Sango told a fable that her father had told her when she was a child. It involved three conflicting spirits: earth, sun, and water. An huge argument arose between the three, and they were cursed. The earth was doomed to be continually eaten by the sea. The sun was cursed to be eternally burning without being able to reach water to quench it. The water was subject to eternal abuse from the sun, being unable to find comfort, even within her own icy depths, and therefore had to start continuously moving. Everyone clapped for Sango and she smiled faintly, her eyes misty from thinking about her father.

Kunoichi offered a story of her family. It was quite sad as she explained how her mother and father had both died of a disease that broke out in their previous village. She managed to flee with her grandfather, but she caught the disease herself. When they had arrived in Senpai, she had been fairly fine, but as their time there stretched on, she had begun to fall ill more and more often until she felt as if she would die. She offered a dream that she had had, in which a beautiful woman had given her a gift, and the next morning, she had been fine. Kagome recognized the description of the woman as Ayako, and said so. Everyone nodded in understanding and then, it was Kagome's turn.

Kagome thought hard. She didn't have a funny/scary story like Shippou...nor a story of her life that wouldn't bore the people who she had been with for so long...nor a fable... She thought hard, finally coming up with the story of 'Sleeping Beauty'. As she began telling the tale, Sango and Kunoichi were listening, interested, Shippou was finally lulled to sleep by the sound of her voice, Ninsei kept his eyes trained on Kunoichi, and Inuyasha scoffed every few seconds. When she finished, the girls were enraptured by the romantic story while the guys were mentally retching.

When Kagome pulled a huge yawn, everyone couldn't help but follow suit. The sleepiness was contagious. Inuyasha asked Kagome if she felt well enough to sleep outside. She nodded, knowing that the minor wound would heal when her blood flowed naturally again. The two left. Ninsei agreed to take Kunoichi home, and the girl flushed and consented. Before leaving, she remembered to give the scales to Sango, who thanked her profusely and set them aside. They would probably be of good use later... Then they, too, departed, leaving Sango in the room with Kirara, Shippou, and Miroku, all asleep.

'Sleeping Houshi...' Sango thought bemusedly. 'I wonder...' She rose and walked over to his futon. Raising a hand, she trailed a finger from his forehead, around his cheek, to rest on his lips. Realizing what she was thinking, Sango drew back. 'It's a story!' she reminded herself. 'Real life doesn't work like that!' But still, she couldn't halt the feeling that she should try. Just once. And if nothing happened, she could just pretend nothing ever happened. 'Right, then!'

Ever so slowly, Sango leaned forward and put her lips next to Miroku's ear. "Awaken, Sleeping Houshi," she whispered, then pressed her mouth to his.

-------------------------------

Still painful. Still couldn't move. Miroku was slowly giving up hope. His head spun every time he breathed, for Kami's sake! Almost three weeks he had been stuck in this pain-filled limbo. To make matters worse, he felt alone. Completely and utterly alone. But then, he heard it. A voice whispered, in the tone of a gentle, sweet command, making him feel the need to say, 'Yes, ma'am!'.

"Awaken, Sleeping Houshi."

'Sango?' He thought. 'What does she mean by-'

His thoughts were halted when he felt a pressure against his lips. It felt soft like rose petals, and he recognized the feel. For a second, he was sure that he could even SEE her.

Wait...he COULD see her! He blinked hard, trying to clear his muddied vision, and when he opened them again, he could clearly see that it was indeed Sango who was bent over him, her lips on his, desperate tears running down her face. Oh, and one more thing he forgot to mention...

He was AWAKE! Gods, he felt a new life within him! He had weathered his test and survived! He could feel the power within him, just waiting to be put to use. The pain, the excruciating pain, was all gone. He just felt slightly weak from the long disuse of his muscles, but that would pass in time. What mattered now was that he was back!

And of course, what better way to celebrate than...

Sango's head jerked up as she felt the weak squeeze on her behind. She cast a dubious look at Miroku's placid face. 'Did he just...' she thought. Her suspicions were confirmed when an amused look flickered across his features. "Houshi-sama?"

Miroku cracked one eye open and looked up at Sango's face. "Ah..." he began, his throat dry from not talking for so long. Swallowing, he continued. "Sango-san. I was merely seeing if you had changed any in the time that I was incapacitated."

Sango's eye twitched. "Hentai!" she began...then broke down into relieved tears. "You...hentai! Amorous...lecherous....Gods, I missed you!" She buried her head in his chest and he put a hand on her back, shushing her. He forced his body to make room for her on the futon, and she willingly joined him, still sobbing.

"Shh...I promise...I'll never leave again," He whispered, slowly stroking her hair until the pair fell into a deep sleep, both anticipating the morning, when they could fully enjoy each other's company.

Corisu Li: This chapter is dedicated to Aamalie, the person who I'm now focusing on when I write. I got three reviews for my last chapter.... THREE.... and two were from her! So thank you, Aamalie, I am forever indebted! As long as you're still reading, I'm inspired! Thanks also goes out to Vampire-Elf, who reviewed just when I was about to post this!!! Also, thanks to B. Boswick, who pointed out a very HUGE mistake in this chapter...You other sucky people, with your stingy mouse-clicks, who like to rape my story and not even be kind enought to give me feedback... I'm disappointed in you. Didn't you mother teach you better than that? Click the button and maybe, just maybe, I'll forgive you. -___-
